Frenship ISD Marketing and Communications Coordinator Selected for Leadership Lubbock

Frenship ISD Marketing and Communications Coordinator Erin Garcia has been selected for the Leadership Lubbock Class of 2027. Through the year-long program, Garcia will join area leaders in learning about the South Plains and exploring opportunities to strengthen the Lubbock community.

Frenship Senior Crowned 2026 Wolfforth Harvest Queen

The City of Wolfforth recognized the 2026 Harvest Queen candidates during the Frenship High School football game on September 11. Karsyn Laymon was named the 2026 Harvest Queen, with Zoie Najera and Jocelyn Payne named first and second runners-up.

Legacy Elementary Life Skills Program Receives Donation from Covenant Medical Center Staff

Legacy Elementary’s Life Skills program received a generous $1,200 donation from employees at Covenant Medical Center. After learning about the program from Life Skills Teacher Derek Hargrove, Covenant staff decided to give back in a big way.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.626% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $18.50.
