Frenship High School staff members are starting their Thursdays with a little rhythm, a lot of fun, and plenty of tap shoes. Dance Department Chair Courtney Ferguson has created a weekly tap class that gives staff a chance to learn something new and connect with their colleagues.

Last week, Frenship ISD brought together student leaders from Frenship High School and Memorial High School to form the first ever “Big Cat Council.” The council gives Tigers and Panthers a seat at the table as the district establishes traditions and shared expectations for a future that now includes two comprehensive high schools.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.626% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $18.50.
