Tiger Soccer Concludes Non-District Play with Perfect Record

The Tiger Soccer team hit the road to face off with stiff Metroplex competition at the Johnson County Showcase last weekend. They opened play with a 3-1 outing over Colleyville Heritage with goals scored by Adam Aboohamidi, Landon Bond, and Drew Hocutt.

Frenship’s second match versus Northwest saw a 5-0 victory for the good guys as Jalon Jackson netted 2 goals, Aboohamidi 2 goals, and another by Hocutt. The final match for the Tigers was a 4-2 result versus South Hills. It was another multi-goal match by Aboohamidi with 2, Caleb Belk chipped in one, and Hocutt another goal.

“Great weekend to cap off a solid foundation ahead of opening district in two weeks,” said Head Coach Scott Smith. “This winning mentality is infectious, but more importantly the boys take such great pride in performing well. It’s really enjoyable working with them.”

The Tigers (8-0, 0-0) will open District 2-6A play on the road against Midland Lee on Friday, February 7.
