Tiger Girls Basketball Continues Rolling Through District
The Frenship Girls Basketball team has been on the warpath in District 2-6A and following an 89-56 victory over Odessa Permian last Tuesday on the road, the Tigers clinched their 17th straight playoff appearance. Even on an off-night offensively at home Friday, the Tigers took down Midland Lee 56-44 to improve to 24-5 and 7-0 on the season.
The Tigers will host the Amarillo Tascosa Rebels Tuesday night in the Tiger Pit at 5:00 pm. Tuesday is Senior Night. Tiger Boys Basketball Rebounds from Road Loss
The Frenship Tiger Basketball team lost a tough one on the road at Odessa Permian last Tuesday on a buzzer-beating layup. The game, which began the fourth quarter tied at 33 saw multiple lead changes and clutch free throws but ended in controversy overclock management.
The Tigers didn’t allow that road loss to distract from their season goals. They took down Midland Lee 85-39 in the Tiger Pit Friday night to improve to 23-6 and 3-2 on the season. Read the full recap from Hub City Preps HERE
