Community Partner Tours Open Frenship's Doors

Starting in the Fall of 2018, Frenship began offering student-led facility tours to parents, business owners, supporters, and anyone with an interest in seeing what it is that Frenship students are up to every day.

“We realized that as Frenship continued to grow it became harder for our community to connect with us personally,” explained Frenship Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Keith Patrick. “The Frenship community is one of the most vital parts of the continued success of our students so we wanted to make sure folks could see in person the amazing things happening on our campuses every day.”

Tours are generally for groups of eight or less and last approximately two hours. They include a tour of the Ninth Grade Center and the Career & Technical Education programs at Frenship High School. Any facility can be included on a tour, but these are the most common stops. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from FHS students how they’ve experienced the facilities and programs of Frenship ISD, interact with administrators, and most importantly, see Frenship students in action.

“Even the longest-standing Frenship supporters end up surprised at the incredible things Frenship students experience each day,” said Patrick. “We’re all apt to assume that school continues to look like what we experienced, but in reality, Frenship students are working with cutting-edge technology and accomplishing incredible things as they prepare for their careers.”

Anyone is welcome to be a part of a tour of Frenship facilities and can request one at any time by contacting Keith Patrick at [email protected] or 806-239-6628. Patrick also manages Frenship’s Community Partners Program and anyone interested in partnering with Frenship ISD individually or as a business can contact him for more information.
