Girls Soccer Defense Comes Up Big Again
The Frenship Girls Soccer team earned their 12th shutout of the season Friday night with a 1-0 victory over Midland Lee at the Tiger Soccer Pitch. The Tiger defense and keeper Lexi Jackson have allowed only one goal scored against all season, in a 1-1 tie against Austin Vandegrift in the Governor’s Cup in Georgetown, TX.
Frenship sits atop the District 2-6A standings with a 6-0 record but is followed closely by Midland High at 5-1. The Tigers will hit the road for two matches as they face Amarillo Tascosa at Dick Bivins Stadium at 5:30 pm on Tuesday night and then head to Ratliff Stadium to take on Odessa Permian Friday at 5:30 pm as well. The Tigers’ final home match, and Senior Night, will be Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30 pm as well.

Boys Soccer Continues to Battle Through District Play
Frenship Tiger Boys Soccer (10-3-1, 2-3-1) dropped a tight match to Midland Lee Friday 3-2. Frenship will travel to Dick Bivins Stadium Tuesday night to take on Amarillo Tascosa (4-12-3, 0-5-1) who is bringing up the rear in District 2-6A, at 7:30 pm. The Tigers will extend the road trip heading to Ratliff Stadium Friday for a match against Odessa Permian.
