Senior Lainey Cristan, who is committed to play college golf at Loyola University, led the field after day one with a 77.

Day two of the tournament took place at Amarillo Country Club and the Tigers ended up taking third place overall. Cristan improved by a stroke over her day one performance and snagged first place overall with a 77-76 (153).

The Amarillo Tournament was the Tigers’ second of the season. They opened 2020 at the Red Raider Invitational at the difficult Rawls Golf Course. Cristan also took third overall at that tournament. Frenship will be back in action fo their final tournament of the fall at the Abilene Halloween Classic at Maxwell Golf Club and Diamondback Golf Club in Abilene.
