Tiger Volleyball Takes District 2-6A Lead

The Tigers defeated an extremely tough Midland High squad 11-25, 27-25, 25-20,
4-25, 15-10 in five sets. Midland High (6-2, 5-1) was the previous district leader and undefeated in 2-6A until running into the Tigers’ impressive attack. Lexi Moore led the way offensively for Frenship with 11 kills, followed closely by Gracie Harrison with 10 kills and Addison McClure with 9 more.

Defensively, it was Kendall Mahaney leading the way with 32 digs, Gracie Harrison with 25 digs and .5 blocks, and Hannah Page with 21 digs. Kayton Genenbacher notched 34 assists, 18 digs, and 1 block.

Frenship came home and jumped right back into action Saturday in the Tiger Pit hosting the Bronchos of Odessa High. They took down the district foe 25-3, 25-11, 25-12, earning their third District 2-6A sweep of the season. The Tigers notched 15 aces on the day after only 2 the evening before in Midland. Gracie Harrison led the way offensively with 9 kills and the team combined for 5 blocks with Madison Ramsey leading with 1.5.
