#9 Tiger Volleyball Extends Winning Streak to Eleven Games

The Tigers’ defense was impressive on the evening with 9.5 blocks. Taylor Boyd led the way with 3 and Lindsey Frick, Jentre Kennedy, and Gracie Harrison each contributed 1.5. Madison Ramsey chipped in 1 block as well. Kendall Mahaney handled the back-line load with 23 digs, Harrison added 15, and Hannah Page another 12. Kayton Genenbacher turned in an impressive 30 assists in the short contest and added 9 digs and 2 aces as well.

Frenship was back in action on Tuesday, November 3 facing Odessa High on the road once again. The Tigers earned another sweep dispatching the Bronchos 25-13, 25-15, 25-10. The Tigers relied on a team approach racking up 30 kills on the evening with no single player breaking double digits, Ramsey led the way with 8. Mahaney racked up 36 digs in the match and a team-leading 3 aces as well while Page contributed 14 digs and 2 aces of her own.

The Tigers will be back in action Friday, November 6 in the Tiger Pit facing the Midland Lee Lady Rebels at 5:00 pm. Due to a rescheduled contest, Frenship will go back-to-back with another game in the Tiger Pit on Saturday at 1:00pm. On Tuesday, November 10, Tiger Volleyball will celebrate the seniors that have helped build this program into the strength it is today. The Senior Night game will be against Midland High at 6:00 pm. Both the Saturday and Tuesday games will be aired live on Frenship.TV with Keith Patrick on the call.
