The boys easily defeated Estacado 65-6 and Caprock 45-12. The girls went 3-0, triumphing over Estacado 27-15, Lubbock High 33-21, and Caprock 30-18.

Frenship Head Wrestling Coach Clinton Wood said he is excited to see what his teams will do at the District meet.

“Shout out to seniors JL Espach and Kaiden Womack for their performances last weekend,” Wood said. “Also, a great job by Allie Bennett, Andrea Laughlin, and Meghan Ramos for their big wins on the girl’s side.”

The two teams will take the mat at the District Wrestling meet on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10 at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth.
