At the start of the seventh inning, the Tigers were down 1-0. They rallied to score three in the top of the seventh inning to solidify their win and advance their overall District record to 4-3.
Erin Boles came in clutch as she got the win and had two hits and one RBI. Sydnee Bowlin had three hits, Kat Laxson had one RBI, and Jill Franco had a big hit in the seventh inning with one RBI.
Frenship Softball Head Coach Robby Dickenson said the game was very well played and it was a big win for his team.
“We have Permian up next this week,” Dickenson said. “They seem to be playing better than the last time we played but are still struggling. We are keeping an eye on them and are prepared to take care of business on Friday. We are also keeping an eye on the El Paso District that we will play first in the playoffs, but it is too early to make any plans as our District and the standings could, and should, change by playoff time.”
The Tigers will take on Odessa Permian at home on Friday. Tickets are available for purchase starting at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 HERE. The game will also be live streamed by Frenship.TV.
