Frenship Tennis Gears Up for Game Against Coronado

After a strong tournament showing in Keller Texas earlier this month, the Tigers had a strong start to their season.  In their first match, Frenship narrowly pulled out the win against Grapevine High School, 9-8 in the first match, and 10-9 in the second to claim their hard fought win.

Later in the tournament, the Tigers faced Keller Central where they moved to 2-0 after defeating them in the second match 17-2. The Tigers almost went undefeated in the tournament but were beat by Wills Point in a close match 9-10, but defeated Birdville 13-2, to head home with a 3-1 record on the year.

Last week, Frenship took on Amarillo Tascosa and Amarillo High, both at Frenship. The Tigers defeated Tascosa 11-8 but fell to a very good Amarillo High team 2-17.
