7th Grade A and B
On Wednesday night the HMS 7th Grade A and B Football teams competed against Cavazos Junior High to close out their 2021 football season.
The 7th Grade A team finished with a record of 4-5 and the 7B team finished 7-1 and tied for the City Champion title.
8th Grade A and B
The Heritage 8th Grade A team competed against Dunbar Middle School and finished undefeated to take home the City Championship. They even scored 343 points on the season!
The Heritage 7th Grade B team finished in the top four overall with a 28-0 win over Dunbar Middle School.
Heritage Boys Athletics Coordinator Alex Sanchez said he had no doubt that his teams would have an amazing season this year.
"Congrats to a great group of young men, who believed in our coaching and worked everyday for the past year to get to this moment," Sanchez said. "They deserve all their success this season and I couldn’t be more honored to get to coach them and work with the coaches that I do everyday. Thanks for all the support we received this season, we appreciate it so much. Lets keep working!"
