Frenship Boys Golf
The Frenship Varsity Boys Golf team competed in the 6A Regional Preview tournament at Tangle Ridge on March 4 and 5.
Tigers came in 11th out of 20 teams with Rex Newsom leading the Tigers and tied for 13th overall with a two day (75-74) 149.
Jathan Reed finished with a two day score of 156, followed by Hunter Welch with 160, Leyton Hiebert with 162, and Brayden Katilus with 175.
Frenship Girls Golf
The Frenship Varsity Girls Golf team also competed in the 6A Regional Preview Tournament last weekend. Competitors included: Savannah Crozier, Jaklyn Williams, Yamila Kuchta, Maci Waggoner, and Melanie Jones.
Both the Girls and Boys Golf teams will compete over the weekend and Spring Break next week. The Girls are headed to Andrews to compete in the Andrews Girls Golf Classic tournament on March 18 and 19, while the Boys will compete in the San Angelo Invitational tournament in San Angelo on March 11 and 12.
