Last Friday night the Tigers took on the San Angelo Central (SAC) Lady Bobcats at the Frenship High School softball field.
Frenship got an early lead and had three homeruns in the first few innings of the game.
"Lysa Builtron, Jill Franco, and Maddie Stewart all hit homeruns," Frenship Softball Head Coach Robby Dickenson said. "Makayla Garcia, Sydnee Bowlin, Abbey Tar, and Kat Laxson all had multiple hits, and Erin Boles was the winning pitcher."
The Tigers took home the win by run rule in only five innings, dominating over SAC 14-1.
Frenship Softball is now 7-0 and are looking to hold onto their undefeated status a little bit longer in their second round matchup against Odessa Permian on Friday.
"Permian is fighting for a playoff spot so we are expecting a tough game," Dickenson said. "We are working to fine tune our skills and stay sharp so we can get back to business and zone in on what Permian does well."
Odessa Permian will host Frenship on Friday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m., and then the Tigers will turn around and play Midland Legacy on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at home. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, April 7 and will be available for online purchase HERE.
