Frenship's Coldon Kiser got the Tigers off to a good start with a 1-0 lead in the first inning with his RBI hit.
Later in the sixth inning with a tied score 1-1, Nano Mendoza got a double followed quickly by Brooks Roberson with a triple and Hudson Hutcheson who got a double helping cushion the Tigers lead, 3-1.
Also in the sixth, Carter Estill took to the mound, logging two scoreless innings for Midland.
The Tigers pulled out the game on victory 4-1 and will see Midland again on Thursday, April 14 at 6:00 p.m. at home.
Game three will take place in Midland on Friday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m.
