Frenship Unified Track Coach Kayci Smith said the team was thrilled to compete against ten other teams and win, beating out the defending State Champion team.
"We had so many of our athletes set personal records," Smith said. "If you see any of our kiddos this week, please make sure you give them a fist bump or high five! They are pretty proud and so are we."

"A huge highlight was when we pulled up to the fieldhouse once we got home," Smith said. Frenship Principal Greg Hernandez and Frenship Director of Athletics Bryan Gerlich were there and greeted and congratulated all of the returning athletes.
"A big Thank you to Coach Aaron Tomlinson for all you do for our athletes, to Erik Kirkpatrick for the support as an administrator and also being another Coach, and Dustin Rush for being our Unified Trainer," Smith said. "Thank you to Grant Phillips and Ansley Iversen as our two student coaches, and Camden Reese for coming on the journey with us and documenting all of the meets. His video even made it on the UIL website!"
