For the second year in a row, Frenship hosted the Professional Learning Community (PLC) LIVE Stream Conference. Because of the LIVE stream nature of this conference, Frenship was able to include many more teachers than in years past of attending a traditional face-to-face conference.
The PLC process is about adult learning. Students learn more when their teachers learn collaboratively with their peers. It is about leveraging the people we have in our community to assist teachers and ensure high levels of learning for ALL students.
The goals of attending the PLC Conference are to further develop and refine our collective abilities to make collaborative decisions based on research and data. And to walk away with actionable steps driven by campus coalitions where teachers have a voice and opportunity to lead.
In total, Frenship ISD had 446 educators attend the conference.
