Frenship hosted and competed in the Frenship Volleyball Tournament on August 26 and 27. On Friday, Frenship defeated Monahans in their first match, going 25-17, 25-11, 25-15. The Tigers then went on to defeat Canyon, going 25-12, 25-19, 25-13 to progress to the Championship Bracket.

In the Championship Bracket, the Tigers lost a hard-fought series to the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates with the Pirates going 25-22, 34-36, 25-12, 25-19.

Drea Laughlin and Hope Rivera made the Frenship All-Tournament Team.

The Tigers will take on the Tascosa Rebels on September 2 at the Tiger Pit.
