On September 3, the Cross Country team traveled to North Lakes Park in Denton, TX to compete in the Coach T Invitational. It was a huge meet, and the Tigers had a great showing, with several athletes having notable runs.
Junior Amaya Mendoza came in third place in the Open Girls and freshman Zyla Deshone came in 30th out of a total of 265 runners. In the Open Boys race, senior Gavin Morrison came in 26th out of 340 runners.
Out of 40 total teams, the Boys Team came in eighth place.
