The Frenship Tigers rallied for a win over Midland Legacy on October 7.
The Tigers got off to a slow start against Midland Legacy at their home match-up on October 7, going 24-26 and 20-25, losing the first two sets. However, the Tigers didn’t stay down – they came clawing back to ultimately defeat the Rebels, going 25-22, 26-24, and 15-8 in the last three sets to win the match. The Tigers' victory was the first loss for Midland Legacy in district play.
The Tigers also took down San Angelo Central on October 11.
The team went 26-24, 25-17, 25-27, 25-13, only dropping one set to the bobcats. In that match, Zaiah Buchanan had 18 kills Drea Laughlin had 16 kills and 11 digs, Hannah Lockett had 25 assists, Hope Rivera had 21 assists, and Jayce Garza had 14 digs and two aces.
The Tigers are now 4-2 in district play, and the team will work to keep winning with a match against Midland High on October 14 in Midland.
