Following a dominant district meet, the Tigers Cross Country team competed in the UIL Region I 6A XC Championship. The Tigers raced at Mae Simmons Park on October 24 against extremely tough competition. Several Tigers set new personal records at the race.
Amaya Mendoza came in 28th out of 175 runners with a 19:16.9 PR. Zyla Deshone came in 71 out of 175 with a 20:17.6 PR. On the boys side, Luke Morin came in 97 out of 185 runners and had a 17:23.1 PR.
Overall, the girls team came in 15th out of 24 teams and the boys team came in 20th out of 24 teams.
