Boy's Basketball Gets Bronze C.W. Jackson Tournament, Girl's Basketball Beats New Home

Boy's Basketball C.W. Jackson Tournament

From December 8– December 10, the Tigers competed in the C.W. Jackson Tournament. In the tournament, the Tigers only loss came against Plano East. The Tigers came in third place, and defeated Cedar Hill 70-69, with Patton Pinkins shooting the final goal with just seconds remaining in the game for the win.

Boy's Basketball vs Estacado

The Boy’s Basketball team took on Estacado on December 13. The Tigers came out on top, winning the game 99-72. Patton Pinkins scored 31 points, Tate Beeles had 15, and Armani Gacanica had 11 to move the Tigers to 13-2 on the season.

The Tigers will play next at Trinity Christian on December 20.

Girls Basketball Beats New Home

On December 9, the Frenship Girl’s Basketball team took the short trip to New Home, the number one ranked 2A team and brought back a win. The Tigers defeated the Leopards 66-48. While the Leopards made things close, with just a five-point deficit before the half, the Tigers were able to come roaring back with a strong second half.

The Tigers' next game will be at home against Amarillo High School on December 19.
