To qualify for the State Meet, the powerlifters had to place in the top two spots in their weight class at the Regional Meet on March 11th. Ethan Martinez came in first at Regionals and earned 14th overall at State in the 132 weight class. Reynaldo Loredo earned second place at Regionals and came in 17th at State in the 242 weight class.

“The State Meet was a great experience for both athletes,” said Frenship High School Powerlifting Coach Dusty Robinson. “Both did well, upping their overall totals and maintaining their positions as some of the best lifters in our Region.”
