On May 2, the Frenship Unified Track team traveled to McMurry University to go head-to-head against 14 other teams from across Texas. The team fought hard, landing personal records across every event. At the end of the day, the Tigers came in fourth at State, just 15 points shy from winning the Championship title.

The Frenship Unified Track program began three years ago, and this marked the Tigers second State appearance. This year’s season was marked by success leading to the State Meet. The Tigers racked up four overall championship titles this year after winning both local Unified meets, the area Unified meet, and the regional meet.
