Girls Basketball Dominates Randall and Seminole and is feeling Fired Up for Hub City Tip-Off Tournament

The Frenship Tigers are currently 6-0 after the first day of the HUB City Tip-Off Classic. Girls Head Basketball Coach, Trent Hilliard, is gearing the team’s mindset towards creating a more powerful district play effort.

“We have some very ambitious goals for this year, but the main thing we are working on right now is to prepare for district play,” said Coach Hilliard. “We have won the District Championship for 7 years in a row and have won Bi-District for the last 8 consecutive years. We are working hard to repeat that. We have played 4 ranked teams so far (Winnsboro 3A #3, Garland Sachse 6A #23, Canyon Randall 4A #9, and Seminole 4A #11) and think our schedule will prepare us for those goals.

Teamwork and collaboration mean everything in basketball. Coach Hilliard feels thankful for the hunger for success each athlete carries.

“It is amazing to see the connection these girls have on the court.  They are a selfless bunch that really enjoys team success.  We had 5 different players score in double-figures on Saturday at Randall. In our few games so far, we've had 3 different leading scorers,” said Coach Hilliard.
