The Frenship High School Wrestling Team has been preparing all season for the District Tournament. The Tigers proudly came home with 3rd and 5th place in the tournament.
The Girls Wrestling Team came in 3rd place as a team at the District competition. Gabby Cardenas and Ayiana Wright placed second in their weight classes. Jackie Botello, Hannah Demel, Kayden Johnson, and Juliana Flores came in third place in their weight classes. Alexis Jackson and Kenna Neeley placed fourth in their weight classes.
The Boys Wrestling Team came in fifth place. Noah Zuniga placed first, and Aisaiah Lugisse placed second. Calin Christall, Matthew Barraza, Kyren Ramos, Prosper Ukelegharanya, and Ethan Thomas placed fourth.
Next, the Tigers are competing in the Regional Tournament on February 9 and 10 at W.G. Thomas Coliseum in Haltom City.
