The Frenship High School band hall is brimming with talent as several students earned spots in the All-Region Orchestra and All-Region Jazz Band this year. With countless hours of preparation under their belt, these talented musicians showcased their skills in performances held in late January.
By performing in these All-Region ensembles, the students get the opportunity to experience a high level of musical repertoire outside of the classroom. They get to perform with other talented students from across the region, as well as learn from incredible conductors from across the state.
Scott Carter, the FHS Band Director, stated that these students represented Frenship with pride at their concerts.
“We are so proud of how our band students continue to work hard and achieve the honor of performing in these fantastic ensembles.”
Following their concert, the string, wind, and percussion students advanced through to the All-State audition process. The string students continue through the orchestra division, while wind & percussion students advance through the band division. Four Frenship students were selected as an All-State musician, showcasing their prestigious musicianship and hard work.
