The award-winning Frenship High School Fine Arts Department invites the community to one of four performances of the hit production Anything Goesscheduled for November 30 through December 2 at the FHS Performing Arts Center.
Anything Goes is a 1934 musical story that concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13, “Moonface” Martin, aid Billy in his quest to win Hope.
The musical introduced such songs as “Anything Goes”, “You’re the Top”, and “I Get a Kick Out of You.”
FHS performances of Anything Goes are scheduled for Friday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m., two shows on Saturday, December 1, 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m.
