Frenship ISD is excited to announce Scott Swindoll as the new assistant principal for Frenship High School.

Recently Megan Young, a Terra Vista Middle School Girls Athletics Coach, was named 5A-6A Track and Field Middle School Coach of the Year by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, TGCA.

Last week, over 800 Frenship elementary students visited the Frenship FFA Ag Farm for the 2nd Annual Ag Day to learn how intertwined agriculture is with everyday life.

At Crestview Elementary, first grade students get a good look at the unsung heroes that keep the earth healthy and wonderful. Students learned about the parts worms and bees play in the plant life cycle.

The Tiger Writers’ Club at Alcove Trails Middle School has published its first anthology. The students wrote pieces based on the prompt “Out of the Shadows” and published them in a book which they signed and donated to the library for other students to check out.

Frenship is proud to announce Caleb Holt has been selected to serve as the district’s first Assistant Athletic Director. With 24 years of coaching and teaching experience, Holt is a proven leader who will help continue the rich tradition of excellence seen across Frenship’s athletic programs.

The Heritage Middle School Robotics team known as Tiger Industries, visited several Frenship elementary schools to inspire students to continue robotics in middle school.

Thanks to a Teacher Grant from the Frenship Foundation, the Gifted and Talented programs at all eight Frenship Elementary Schools have been able to create book nooks. These special miniature house projects will be donated to the campus libraries for other students to enjoy.

To wrap up the 2023-2024 school year, the Frenship Athletic Department celebrated the largest athletic signing class. The signing included Frenship’s first powerlifting signee and Frenship’s first dual-athlete signee.

Frenship ISD is excited to announce Crystal Alvarado has been named the new principal of Frenship Middle School. Alvarado joins the Frenship family with a wealth of knowledge including 16 years of educational experience with five years in educational leadership.
