Elementary Camp-Us Adventure

Calling all Future Frenship elementary students!
 
If your little camper will be in Pre-K or a NEW student (Kindergarten-5th grade) at Frenship for the 2025-2026 school year, this adventure is for you! This fun event will allow our new elementary families to meet campus staff, explore the school, and learn everything you need to know about joining the Frenship family.
 
Families who attend Camp-Us will be entered into a drawing to win free school supplies!
 
WHEN: March 27, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The adventure begins at 6:00 p.m. with a brief presentation by the campus principal followed by campus tours. 
 
LOCATIONS: All nine Frenship ISD elementary schools will host a Camp-Us Adventure to welcome our new students!

Who can attend Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year:
  • Students must be 4 years of age by September 1, 2025, for Pre-K
  • Students must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2025, for Kindergarten 
Frenship offers an all-day Pre-K program that follows regular elementary school hours (7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.) and the regular school calendar. There are two options: State-Funded or Tuition-Based
 
State Funded Pre-K: The family must meet one of the required qualifications based on standards set by the Texas Education Agency.
  • One or both parents are Active Military
  • Parent/Guardian was killed or injured while on Active Military Duty
  • Child speaks English as a second language
  • Child is or has been under the conservatorship of Child Protective Services (CPS) - Form 2085
  • Qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch
  • Child qualifies as homeless
Tuition-Based Pre-K: Families who do not meet one of the state funded qualifications above can apply for tuition-based Pre-K. Applications open March 27, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.
