Frenship ISD is committed to working with our Community Partners to provide food security to Frenship's continually growing population of students and families. With over 40% of Frenship ISD students qualifying for the Federal Free & Reduced Lunch Program, there is undoubtedly need present in our community. We also recognize that often families may find themselves in need unexpectedly from loss of a job, a financial emergency, or other unexpected factors. Frenship wants to be responsive to those needs and have programs in place for our families to access when they need them.
At Frenship ISD our Tiger Bites program works to provide both federally-funded and donation-based food assistance to any child and family in Frenship ISD that may need assistance, no questions asked. Whether it be summer feeding programs, Thanksgiving meals, food over the Winter Break, or weekend food bags we are always expanding our network of partners to help serve the students, staff, and families of Frenship ISD.
