Parent-Directed Special Education Services Grants - Apply February 3, 2025 - March 31, 2025

The Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program, previously, the Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) program is a one-time $1,500 online grant for parents/guardians of eligible students served by special education and who are enrolled in a Texas public school. Parents/guardians of eligible students can use the online accounts to shop the marketplace to obtain educational materials and resources such as textbooks, curriculum, or technology devices and/or services such as additional speech therapy, tutoring, or other specific services. The PDSES program is the same as the SSES program, just with a new name to better reflect the importance of parents as decision makers in the educational process. The same students who were eligible for the SSES program are eligible for the PDSES program. If students already received an SSES grant, they will not be eligible for a PDSES program grant.

Special Education Resource Fair - March 4, 2025

Frenship ISD is collaborating with Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Workforce Solutions South Plains to hold a Special Education Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, March 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We invite you to attend this free event to explore the many resources that may be beneficial for your student or family. All families, students, and staff are welcome! Snacks will be provided.

The fair will be held in the Frenship High School cafeteria. Please enter through door 7 at the South Office.

Frenship ISD is partnering with Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Workforce Solutions South Plains to hold a Special Education Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, March 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Frenship High School cafeteria.
