Officer Baughcum began his law enforcement career at the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office in 2008. Officer Baughcum served as a Detention Officer in the Jail Division and advanced to the Patrol Division in 2010 where he became a patrol supervisor in 2012. Officer Baughcum is a certified TCOLE Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Crime Scene Officer. Officer Baughcum also served as a Crisis Negotiator on the Lubbock County SWAT team.
