Frenship ISD is excited to launch, Threads and Treads, a district-wide initiative supporting students in need by ensuring they’re dressed for success. Thanks to a generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous, Threads and Treads allows Frenship counselors to purchase NEW clothes and shoes for students in need. The idea behind it: when you look good, you feel good, you do good.
While many Frenship campuses have clothing closets with gently used clothes, Threads and Treads provides brand new clothing specifically bought just for that student, giving the child something of their own. New clothes can be a confidence booster, allowing the student to focus on learning rather than distractions like holes in their shoes or clothes that are too small.
Threads and Treads was the vision of a Frenship community partner who gave a large donation to kick start the initiative. As Frenship continues to grow, so does the need. If you would like to help, donations can be made to Threads and Treads by clicking the button below.
