Frenship High School HOSA Future Health Professional students competed against students from across the region this past weekend at the Area Competition. After a challenging contest, five Frenship students earned spots in the State Competition at the end of April.

Last week, 21 students in the Business Professionals of America program traveled to Dallas to compete in the State Contest. Five students earned top ranking and will now go on to represent Frenship at the National level.

Photography students are embracing a unique learning opportunity with a new and popular business endeavor, a 360 photobooth. These students are learning the responsibilities of running a small business while exploring a new aspect of photography.

Last week, the Frenship Ninth Grade Center hosted its inaugural "Building Bridges to Careers" fair, giving students the chance to explore 19 different career paths and trades. Students connected with professionals from the community, engaged in hands-on activities, and participated in in-depth discussions about future opportunities.

Last week, several Frenship students competed in the SkillsUSA district contest, earning spots at the state competition on April 2-5. The Frenship High School teams had an impressive showing, bringing home a total of 85 medals, a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Over 100 students are getting hands-on experience and gearing up for successful careers in Automotive Technology. Students gain real world experience by utilizing staff and community members cars in this CTE program.

Dozens of students at Frenship High School are gaining a head start in the healthcare field through the hands-on Health Science courses offered through the CTE program. From assisting patients during clinical rotations to mastering essential medical skills, these future healthcare professionals are charting a path toward success in the medical field.

At Frenship High School, over 200 students are planting the seeds for success within the floral industry thanks to the budding CTE Program. Learning from industry professionals and designing arrangements for community events, these students are flourishing in this hands-on program.

Frenship High School senior Parker Dickens recently competed in the Western Equipment Ag Tech Invitational where he placed 3rd and earned a $10,000 scholarship and valuable tools to further his career in agricultural mechanics.

Last weekend, Frenship High School students competed in the Business Professionals of America Regional Leadership Conference. While at the competition, several Tigers took home 1st place, advancing them on to the State Competition later this spring.
