Sixteen Frenship ISD employees graduated this week with their Aspiring Administrator Leadership Academy Certificate. The program is for educational leaders who are interested in pursuing a principalship.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce that Heritage Middle School math teacher Trey Ogletree was awarded the Lubbock Christian University Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Frenship High School Construction students teamed up with United Supermarkets to build playhouses for CASA.

This week, the Tigers came out in full force, sweeping the competition at the District 2-6A Track Meet and claiming four overall team championships with Boys and Girls Varsity and Boys and Girls JV teams winning gold.

On April 11-12, four Frenship Varsity Tennis players competed in the 6A Region 1 Tennis Tournament at the Courts of McKinney. Both Boys and Girls Doubles teams fought hard to round out their season in regionals.

Frenship’s Legacy Elementary School students raised over $1,200 to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Betenbough Homes came out to Frenship High School this week to meet with students to present them with possible career opportunities.

Although the cookies crumbled, the kindergarten students at Westwind Elementary had a fun filled day munching on Oreos in a quest to find the best one.

The Varsity Softball team racked up two more wins after defeating Midland Legacy on April 6 and securing a shutout victory over the Midland High Bulldogs on April 11th. The Tigers improve to 18-11 for the season and 5-2 in district.

The Frenship ISD Fine Arts Department invites the community to the 15th annual Showcase of the Visual and Performing Arts. Events will take place April 17 – 28 at Frenship High School.
