Thursday morning at People’s Bank Stadium athletes from Frenship, Lubbock-Cooper, Levelland, and Canyon Randall competed in the Local Unified Track Meet.

Last weekend, Frenship Girls and Boys Soccer took on Midland Legacy for the second time this season, and on Tuesday, they faced off against Abilene High.

On Monday, Frenship Baseball opened their season at home against the Coronado Mustangs. This weekend they will travel to DFW for the annual DFW Clash tournament.

Last Friday, the Frenship Boys Basketball team put a cap on their season, falling to Keller Central in the Area playoff round. This week, All-District 2-6A honors were announced.

The Frenship Boys and Girls Track teams competed in the Max Goldsmith Mustang Relays track meet in Andrews last weekend, with the Varsity girls team taking home the silver and the JV girls team taking home the gold.

The Tigers competed in their first tournament of the new season last weekend in the Germblast First Pitch Classic Tournament that took place right here on the South Plains.

Last weekend on February 18 and 19, the Tiger Tennis teams traveled to Midland to compete in the Tall City Tournament. They will hit the court again on March 9 at the Lake Travis Tournament in Austin.

Last weekend, the Frenship Varsity and Junior Varsity Pom squads competed at the Crowd Pleasers Dance DFW Showcase, featuring some of the vest high school dance teams across the state.

Last weekend, Frenship Wrestler Allie Bennett competed in the 6A State Wrestling Meet for the second year in a row.

Frenship Girls and Boys soccer forged ahead in District 2-6A with winning matches against Midland High and San Angelo Central.
