This week, campuses across Frenship ISD celebrated National Red Ribbon Week, a districtwide effort to promote drug prevention and awareness. Throughout the week, students enjoyed fun dress up days, while learning important lessons about the dangers of drugs and substance abuse.

This week, students at Frenship's Reese Education Center hosted a Hope Squad event during lunch where they shared vital mental health resources with their peers and teachers. The event centered around Project Semicolon, a powerful initiative aimed at suicide awareness and prevention.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Connection. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across the Frenship District.

Throughout the month of September and into October all four Frenship middle schools and Frenship High School have been prioritizing mental health and suicide prevention awareness through educational programs and community initiatives.
