The Tiger Baseball team is hitting the road today, Friday, May 6, to take on El Paso Montwood in Monahans in the Bi-District playoff series.

Tonight, Friday, May 6, the Frenship Softball team will take on Weatherford in game one of the Class 6A Area playoff series in Iowa Park.

Earlier this week 11 students signed to play collegiate athletics on May 2, bringing the total to 29 students this year.

For the first time in Frenship history, an 8th grade middle school team has taken home the championship in all Lubbock County Middle School athletic competitions.

Last week each middle school campus competed in the Lubbock County Middle School Track and Field Championships. These programs served the District proud as a Frenship middle school won each of the divisions.

After the Frenship Girls Track and Field first place finish at the Area meet last weekend and several Frenship Boys Track and Field athletes qualifying in their perspective events, the Tigers are headed to the Region 1-6A Track Meet on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.

Last Friday night the Tigers celebrated Senior Night with a big win over Odessa High in a 10-0 win. On Tuesday, Frenship took the game two win over Odessa Permian to secure the District 2-6A championship title.

After defeating Midland High in their final regular season game last Friday night, the Frenship Tiger Softball team is headed to the Bi-District series this weekend.

In only their second year, the Frenship High School Unified Track team competed at the State Unified Track Meet and dominated the competition by coming in 2nd place overall.

The Frenship Softball team took on Odessa High on Tuesday, April 19, and honored seven seniors.
