The Frenship High School Varsity and JV POM teams brought home more than a dozen awards after competing in a state-wide competition.

Balanced scoring and stifling defense propelled the FHS girls hoops team to a convincing 63-32 win and a Bi-District championship against El Paso Montwood.

Twenty-nine wins and the outright District 2-6A championship, and the journey is just beginning.

The Frenship girls basketball team completed their exciting week of play with two more victories and the District 2-6A championship, the program’s first outright title since 2004.

In honor of School Board Recognition Month, Frenship ISD staff and students made a special presentation to their board members Monday night at the January meeting.

The FHS wrestling teams saw some major action this past weekend with the guys attending the Hereford Rumble and the girls attending Caprock Lady Longhorn Classic.

It was a clean sweep for both the Frenship boys and girls soccer teams last weekend as the Tigers swept through their respective competition to capture the Frenship Cup championship trophies.
