This month, students from all four Frenship middle schools and 99 students from Frenship High School secured a spot on one of the All-Region bands.

Four students representing three Frenship middle schools have earned a place in the All-Region Mariachi Band. This incredible accomplishment marks the first time in Frenship history that students have been selected for this prestigious band.

On Thursday, November 7, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce held its annual Celebrate Awards Ceremony where they recognized Frenship ISD, Lubbock ISD, and Lubbock-Cooper ISD as their Business of the Year recipients.

The Frenship High School Marching Band excelled at the UIL Area 6A Marching Contest, earning a place in the state competition in San Antonio.

Last weekend, students from all four Frenship middle schools earned a spot in the All-Region Choir. Those selected for the choir will attend a clinic and concert at Monterey High School on Saturday, November 16th.

On November 2 and 3, the Frenship Theatre Department will host a Fall Festival to showcase student actors in a series of short plays in a workshop type atmosphere.

Last weekend, the Frenship High School Marching Band participated in the Bands of America West Texas Regional Championship held at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa, Texas.

This week at the First Friday Art Trail, several Frenship High School students will display and sell original artwork at the Therese Barrett Photography Studio. For the first time, four Frenship students will conduct a reading from their creative writing projects.

With the start of the new school year, Frenship High School Advanced Floral Design class is once again excited to offer the Flower of the Month Club. This program allows students to gain real-world, career-focused experience while also offering creative floral arrangements to Frenship staff.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce that one of its own has been selected to join the prestigious Macy’s Great American Marching Band. Bryson Owens will represent Frenship on a national stage, performing in the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City this November.
