Frenship Soccer played Permian and Midland Lee. Both programs travel to Abilene to take on Abilene High on Friday, February 5.

On Wednesday, February 3, 10 FHS student athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to play collegiate athletics.

Frenship Boys Varsity Basketball (18-4, 9-0) defeated the Odessa High Broncos 77-66. Frenship Girls Varsity Basketball (19-5, 10-1) dominated the Odessa High Lady Broncos winning 73-33.

Frenship Varsity Baseball takes on Lubbock-Cooper Saturday, February 6 in a scrimmage at Lubbock-Cooper High School.

The Tigers (2-2-2, 0-0-1) played San Angelo Central on Tuesday at home in their first District match of the season. The team played an intense game full of phenomenal stops but neither team ended with a victory with a final score of 0-0.

Frenship Boys Basketball (17-4, 8-0) dominated Midland Lee last Friday winning 66-37 at the Tiger Pit. On Tuesday they traveled to Abilene High to win a hard-fought battle in double OT 66-62 over the Eagles.

Frenship Girls Basketball (17-5, 8-1) faced off against Midland Lee last Friday and suffred their first District loss, 34-29, after 23 straight District victories, however, the Tigers redeemed themselves this week on Tuesday, when they dominated Abilene High with a record-breaking score of 96-30.

The Tiger Powerlifters represented Frenship High School at the Bobcat Invitational in Dimmitt last Saturday. Twelve athletes placed in their weight classes, all placing in the top 10 in their category.

Macie Jacobs is a crucial player on the Frenship Varsity Girls’ Soccer Team this year. After a crazy season last school year, Jacobs has signed to play after graduating high school, and is giving it her all in her final season at Frenship.

FHS Softball started practicing last week for the 2021 season. Last year the season was cut short due to COVID-19 and this year the team is ready for a fresh start in their upcoming season with the goal of a District Championship and a deep playoff run.
